• Non-soap pH balanced formulation - plant based ingredients - fragrance free. Benzoyl peroxide works well for inflammatory acne, which is characterized by red bumps that contain pus (pustules, papules, cysts, and nodules). If you just have blackheads and whiteheads, salicylic acid & sulfur soaps and cleansers will work well to clear out pores. If you are prone to red, angry pimples then keep BPO in your product rotation.

Details: The DermaHarmony 10% Benzoyl Peroxide or BPO (non-soap) Cleansing Bar was especially formulated for those with acne. This bar is for use on mild to moderate acne. It may be used in combination with other acne treatments as directed by your doctor. When applied to the skin, benzoyl peroxide (BPO) works by reducing the amount of acne-causing bacteria and by causing the skin to dry and peel. Benzoyl peroxide works well for mild pustules.

BPO will bleach stain clothing and towels - use caution. It leaves funky orange stains on nearly everything it touches. Wash your hands well with soap and water after each application. Rinse your face and body extremely well before toweling off to prevent staining of fabrics.
